Naked DSL in Richmond

by Luke on September 29, 2009

Getting Naked DSL in Richmond, Victoria is currently a very difficult task. All of the major Naked DSL providers have no available ports at the Richmond exchange. That includes iinet, Internode, TPG and Optus. As Optus has no available ports it means that Exetel, Dodo and Netspace also cannot provide any Naked DSL or ADSL2+ services.

But the situation does look like to improve in the next few months. All of the above providers are in Telstra’s queue to do upgrades at the Richmond exchange. When the upgrades happen and more ports are released then there will be a number of great options available with a wide range of ISPs.

But as Richmond is high-density, with a young, tech-savvy population, you’ll need to get in quickly before the ports fill up again.  If you’d like to be notified when more Naked DSL ports are released in the Richmond exchange, then please contact us or register your interest at the Richmond exchange page.

The Richmond, Victoria exchange sits just outside the Melbourne CBD and also includes parts of Cremorne and Burnley.
