Data Allowance

Netspace has some big advantages with their data allow. They are one of the few Naked DSL providers to have ‘Anytime’ data usage and they also only count downloads. Uploads are free.

The Netspace entry level plan is $49.95 for 15GB of data and the next step up is $59.95 for 40GB. Both of these plans have data that can be used at any time and only downloads are counted. They are very competitive offers.

If you want the additional benefit of large off peak quotas, they are available on the $69.95 plan for 30GB + 45GB, the $79.95 plan for 40GB + 60GB of downloads or the $99.95 plan for 40GB + 120GB of downloads.

Bundle Deals

Netspace has a VoIP service which is free to set up and has no ongoing access fees. The local and national call rate to landlines is 15 cents (for up to 30 mins) and the calls to mobiles rate is 29 cents per minute. There are no flagfalls on calls. Contract Options

Netspace has heaps of contract options! You can choose from 0, 6, 12 and 24 month contracts. The longer the contract is, the more discount you get on a modem and set up fee. On a 24 month agreement you can get a free standard modem or a 4 port wireless modem with VoIP and set up for only $150.

Service and Support

Netspace customer service is based in Australia. It is available from 8am to 10pm on weekdays and from 9am to 5pm on weekends. In a recent Whirpool survey about 80% of Netspace customers rated their customer service either ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’.

Freebies

Netspace Naked DSL includes 10 free email addresses, 100MB of personal webspace and free online gaming with Gamespace. Uploads are free, which is a great benefit.

Connection Options

Netspace can connect you to Naked DSL even if you don’t have an active phone line currently. Summary

The new Netspace $49.95 (15GB) and $59.95 (40GB) plans will be very popular because of the ‘Anytime’ data usage and for the fact that uploads are free. Netspace is also one of the only Naked DSL providers to offer free set up on a 24 month plan – including if you currently don’t have an active phone service. Netspace has a lot of great options in terms of plans and contract lengths.
